The flight manoeuvres will be carried out by 74 pilots, 22 technicians-aviators and 21 paratroopers plus other army members.
Croatian Defence Minister Berislav Roncevic said that the flights over Knin on 5 August would be treated as a military exercise, expressing satisfaction with the fact that during his term in office the good working order of the air force technology and equipment rose from 29 percent to 79 percent.
He told reporters that the Armed Forces continued with the programme of modernisation of its Air Force and that MiG planes would be in the fleet until 2010. After that Croatia would embark on another programmes of airplanes but he added that it was not yet defined.
