I entirely support this morning's operation conducted by multinational forces in Bosnia-Herzegovina which arrested Aleksandar Sasa Karadzic who is suspected of helping a person charged with war crimes, Solana said.

The commander of NATO troops in Bosnia-Herzegovina, US General Steven Schook, said today that the arrest of Aleksandar Karadzic, was the result of a thorough analysis of documents confiscated during recent raids of the houses in which members of the family of the former Bosnian Serb leader reside.
We believe that Sasa Karadzic has important information about people charged with war crimes and about people who are helping them, Schook told reporters in Sarajevo. He did not say how long Sasa Karadzic would be held in custody.
