ZAGREB, July 6 (Hina) - The Foreign Ministers of Croatia andLuxembourg, Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic and Jean Asselborn, in Brusselson Wednesday signed an agreement on the financial support to thedemining project in the Gata-Moscenica
region in Croatia, the CroatianForeign Affairs and European Integration Ministry said in astatement.
ZAGREB, July 6 (Hina) - The Foreign Ministers of Croatia and
Luxembourg, Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic and Jean Asselborn, in Brussels on
Wednesday signed an agreement on the financial support to the demining project
in the Gata-Moscenica region in Croatia, the Croatian Foreign Affairs and
European Integration Ministry said in a statement. The EUR100,000
agreement on the financial support is not the first agreement of this kind. In
2004, the two countries signed a protocol on the financial support to the
demining project Moscenica - agricultural ground, worth also EUR100,000. So
far, Luxembourg has donated EUR580,000 to Croatia.
Minister Grabar Kitarovic expressed gratitude to Luxembourg for its
support in mine removal.
She used this opportunity to stress the importance Luxembourg's
Presidency of the European Union had for Croatia and the EU itself, the
statement said.
