Parliament also confirmed Protocol 7 as an annexe to the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the European Union. The protocol determines quotas for the exchange of agricultural and food products between Croatia and the EU.
Parliament also amended the Law on the Gas Market, and confirmed an agreement on a EUR300 million loan from the European Investment Bank to finance the construction of communal infrastructure. The majority rejected a motion by the Peasant Party (HSS) to bind the government to submit to parliament in 90 days elaborations of projects which will be funded from the loan.
