Speaking to the press before departing for Croatia, Sanader said Sharon was not specific about the date of his visit because in August he would be busy with the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.
Sanader said he and his host discussed the strengthening of Croatia-Israel relations, which he said were constantly improving, the situation in the Middle East, and Croatia's European Union integration.
"Prime Minister Sharon and I were agreed about the need that Israel and Croatia sign as soon as possible agreements on the avoidance of double taxation and free trade, which are being prepared," Sanader said.
He added the talks also addressed the possibility in augmenting Israeli investment in Croatia, which he said Croatia was very interested in.
