Ivan Jakovcic re-elected head of Istria County

PAZIN, June 13 (Hina) - The Istria County Assembly on Monday re-elected Ivan Jakovcic, leader of the Istrian Democratic Party, as head of Istria County.

Jakovcic's candidacy was backed by the IDS's coalition partner, the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Viviana Benussi of the IDS, a member of the Italian minority, and Marino Roce of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) were elected vice-presidents of the County Assembly.
