ZAGREB, June 9 (Hina) - Croatian corporate management must be based onprofitability requirements as well as on the social responsibility ofcorporations, President Stjepan Mesic said after a convention of theCroatian Managers Association (CROMA) in Zagreb on Thursday.
ZAGREB, June 9 (Hina) - Croatian corporate management must be based on profitability requirements as well as on the social responsibility of corporations, President Stjepan Mesic said after a convention of the Croatian Managers Association (CROMA) in Zagreb on Thursday.

The state must not interfere in managers' operation and corporate managements and managers must be able to make autonomous decisions and not depend on political parties, Mesic said commenting on a declaration on corporate management and the professional status of managements in the public sector that was adopted by CROMA today.

Mesic called for adopting a law defining positions which are subject and those which are not subject to replacement after elections.
