ZAGREB, June 8 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic on Wednesday spoke at a conference on anti-Semitism and other kinds of intolerance that was organised by the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Cordoba, Spain, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Addressing the meeting, Grabar Kitarovic said that Croatia had adopted a number of documents on the prevention of anti-Semitism and other kinds of intolerance and that now was time to take concrete measures to apply those documents.

She added that sixty years after the victory over fascism the Croatian parliament had adopted a declaration on anti-fascism and that President Stjepan Mesic and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader had visited the site of the World War II concentration camp of Jasenovac to pay tribute to its victims and call for respect for the victims' right to truth.

The minister also pointed to the progress Croatia has made in adopting and applying laws related to human rights and non-discrimination, reads the statement.

The Cordoba conference will end on Thursday with a general session on the fight against racism, xenophobia, intolerance and discrimination, and the adoption of a declaration, reads the statement.
