ZAGREB, May 31 (Hina) - There are no outstanding issues between Croatia and the Czech Republic and Prague supports Croatia's efforts to join the European Union and NATO, Czech officials and Croatia's Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, said during talks in Prague on Tuesday.

During a one-day working visit to Prague, Minister Grabar-Kitarovic met for talks with Czech Foreign Minister Cyril Svoboda and the chairmen of the Czech parliamentary committees on European affairs and foreign affairs, Pavel Svoboda and Vladimir Lastuvka respectively, the Croatian foreign ministry reported.

The Croatian minister informed the Czech officials of the efforts her country was making to meet the remaining condition for full cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY).

The Czech officials voiced support for Croatia's admission to the European Union and its contribution to the stability of the entire region.

During the talks with her Czech counterpart, the Croatian Foreign Minister voiced satisfaction with this year's intensifying of the dialogue between the two countries.

Minister Svoboda said his country supported Croatia's efforts to enter the EU and NATO, and added that Prague was willing to convey to Zagreb its experience in the process of negotiations with the European bloc before the Czech Republic became an EU member-country last year.

Grabar-Kitarovic thanked him for the backing which the Czech Republic had been offering to Croatia since it gained independence.

The two ministers also supported the continuation of the countries' good cooperation in tourism in light of the fact that about 800,000 Czech tourists visit Croatia every year.
