ZAGREB, May 5 (Hina) - The Croatian Constitutional Court has ruled that law-makers did not discriminate against civilian disabled persons from the Homeland Defence War when they provided them with less rights than those enjoyed by disabled war veterans and their families.

Constitutional Court judges on Thursday unanimously decided that there was no discrimination against civilian victims of the Homeland Defence War, after they considered a request on this matter lodged by the Federation of Associations of Croatian civilian victims.

The judges concluded that no discrimination was at work but that civilian invalids from the war and disabled war veterans were two different categories of disabled persons and that their rights were regulated by two specific laws.
