BANJA LUKA, April 1 (Hina) - A task force for the implementation ofconclusions of the final report of a commission in charge ofinvestigating the 1995 massacre in Srebrenica has identified 892persons who were linked in various ways to
the Srebrenica massacre andwho are still employed in the state sector in Bosnia-Herzegovina, thegovernment of the Bosnian Serb entity reported on Friday.
BANJA LUKA, April 1 (Hina) - A task force for the implementation
of conclusions of the final report of a commission in charge of investigating
the 1995 massacre in Srebrenica has identified 892 persons who were linked in
various ways to the Srebrenica massacre and who are still employed in the state
sector in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the government of the Bosnian Serb entity
reported on Friday. The task force has sent its report to the State
Prosecution and the Office of the High Representative, and the document cannot
be made public until it is processed by the judiciary.
According to the findings of the said Commission, the Bosnian Serb
police and army killed 7,800 Bosniaks (Muslims) in the eastern enclave of
Srebrenica between 10 and 19 July 1995.
Following the conclusions of the commission, the authorities of the
Republic of Srpska set up the task force whose job was to establish by 31 March
how many persons involved in the Srebrenica massacre are still employed in
bodies of authorities at the municipal, entity and state level in
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
