ZAGREB, April 1 (Hina) - The consumer basket of the Federation of
Independent Trade Unions of Croatia (SSSH) shows that the minimum living costs
of a four-member family in March increased by 56 kuna 44 percent in relation to
February. The costs of food, housing, transport, hygiene,
clothing, education and culture in March amounted to 5,615 kuna, SSSH
representatives told a news conference on Friday.
The average December salary, amounting to 4,123 kuna, could covered
73.42 percent of the living costs of an average four-member family.
