Auschwitz in Poland, Bozanic's officesaid in a statement.
ZAGREB, March 30 (Hina) - The archbishop of Zagreb, Cardinal Josip
Bozanic, and 40 of the youngest priests and deacons from the Zagreb
archdiocese on Wednesday visited the Marian shrine of Czestochow and the
ex-Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz in Poland, Bozanic's office said in a
statement. In Czestochow Bozanic conducted mass together with the
participants of the study tour. The ceremony was also attended by local
pilgrims.
In his sermon, Bozanic called on those present to pray for the Pope.
After mass, Bozanic and the participants of the study tour visited
Auschwitz, where Bozanic conducted a prayer for the former camp's victims.
