ZAGREB, March 27(Hina) - Croatians have more confidence in domesticthan in foreign insurance companies, according to a poll conducted bythe GfK Market Research Centre in 2004 on 2000 people.
ZAGREB, March 27(Hina) - Croatians have more confidence in domestic than in foreign insurance companies, according to a poll conducted by the GfK Market Research Centre in 2004 on 2000 people.

The poll has shown that the most well known insurance company in Croatia is Croatia Osiguranje, which 48 percent of those questioned mentioned as the first that came to mind, followed by Euroherc, Allianz, and Jadransko Osiguranje.

The poll which GfK has been conducting for the past four consecutive years also shows that 60 percent of households have property insurance policies, most of which refer to mandatory car insurance.

Croatia Osiguranje leads in car and personal liability insurance, with a 47 percent market share. It is followed by Agram, which has a 35 percent share. In mandatory car insurance, Croatia Osiguranje has a 42 and Agram a 41 percent market share.

The poll also shows that clients are most satisfied with the Kvarner Wiener Staedtische and Zagreb Osiguranje insurance companies.
