cadastral books and the second internationalconference on geodetics, land management and the environment "InterGeoEast" at the Zagreb Fair on Monday.
ZAGREB, March 7 (Hina) - By the end of this year all competent courts
are expected to start replacing manual land data input with electronic input,
Justice Minister Vesna Skare-Ozbolt said opening the third Croatian congress on
cadastral books and the second international conference on geodetics, land
management and the environment "InterGeo East" at the Zagreb Fair on
Monday.Organising cadastral and land books is one of the most important
priorities of the Croatian Government, Skare- Ozbolt said.
The international congress is the biggest meeting on cadastral books in
Southeast Europe. The event, which will close on 9 March, was organised by the
Zagreb Fair, the Croatian Geodetic Society, the State Geodetic Administration
and Germany's Hinte Messe company.
The meeting, attended by more that 800 experts in the filed, lawyers and
technicians from 18 countries, is being held under the auspices of the
Croatian government. Some of the topics are e-government, land data base,
registration of ownership and real estate, geo-information systems, etc.
