The foreign trade deficit in January this year was 3.1 billion kuna, or USD538 million, while the export-import ratio was 51.7 percent.
More than 90 percent of Croatia's January 2005 exports was generated by the manufacturing industry, whose exports of USD538 million were 10.8 percent higher than in January 2004.
