The programme has a budget of 25 million euros for Croatia next year.
This was said at the presentation of the SAPARD programme in Zagreb on Friday. Before Zagreb, the programme was also presented in several other Croatian cities in the past seven days.
The aim of SAPARD is to help central and eastern European countries to deal with the problems of the structural adjustment in their agricultural sectors and rural areas, as well as in the implementation of the acquis communautaire concerning the CAP (Common Agricultural Policy).
