Zagreb police spokeswoman Gordana Vulama told Hina the man, whose identity she did not reveal, was arrested around noon in a flat in the Tresnjevka neighbourhood. She said the man had already been arrested yesterday in a attempt to steal a laptop computer from the daily's offices in Slavonska Avenue.
Vulama said the man, dissatisfied with today's article in Vecernji about his arrest, called a police station around 10 am saying he would throw a bomb at the daily's offices. Police immediately sent an emergency unit to guard the offices and arrest the man but did not find him in his flat.
The man called the station again saying he was sorry for making the threat, after which he was arrested in a flat in Tresnjevka, said Vulama.
