Foreign observers have described the project as one of the best such projects financed through the CARDS programme, the EC Delegation said in a statement on Wednesday. The final results of the project were presented at the Central Bureau of Statistics today, the Delegation said.
This twinning project was implemented in cooperation with the Danish Statistics Institute.
The project had been officially launched on May 1, 2003, and was completed in 21 months.
The purpose of the project was to strengthen the statistics system in Croatia by gradually adopting the EU's acquis communautaire in some areas of statistics.
