Croatia's application for membership of the organisation, which focuses on the education of experts in growing Mediterranean plants and cooperation of Mediterranean countries in the farm sector, was accepted at today's meeting in Zagreb between Croatian Agriculture Minister Petar Cobankovic and CIHEAM President and Secretary General, Mouin Hamze and Bertrand Hervieu respectively.
