SARAJEVO, Dec 25 (Hina) - The Competition Council of
Bosnia-Herzegovina has decided that the intention of the INA-MOL consortium to
buy the Sarajevo-based oil company "Energopetrol" will not jeopardise market
competition in the sale of oil products in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The
decision, made public in Sarajevo on Monday, removes the last obstacle to the
acquisition of Energopetrol by the Croatian-Hungarian consortium. An agreement
on the sale of Energopetrol was signed earlier this year.
The INA-MOL consortium has acquired 67% of state-owned shares in
Energopetrol and taken over obligations to make new investments and keep all
current employees.
