Your path to the European Union is open, Solana said after talks with members of the Bosnian collective presidency, confirming the EU's readiness to develop partnership relations with Bosnia. He, however, stressed the country must meet some of its obligations.
Stressing he was referring to internal and economic reforms, Solana also called for full cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
Bosnian top politicians have traveled to Brussels where they are scheduled to negotiate about police reform on Wednesday and Thursday. The conclusion of a Stabilisation and Association Agreement between Bosnia and the EU has been blocked because of a halt in the implementation of the police reform.
