Vukelic of Croatia and his Albanian counterpart Rulli took part in the Central European Initiative's Economic forum held in Tirana on Thursday.
The two countries' economic relations are currently focused on the construction of a road and energy infrastructure, because Albania has great needs and Croatia can provide quality services.
Croatia-Albania trade in the first nine months of 2006 totaled 26 million US dollars or 66 percent more than in the same period the year before. Croatia's surplus in 2005 amounted to 19.7 million dollars.
The two ministers hailed the trend of further increase in trade exchange and pointed to the need for a balanced development of economic relations.
Rulli expressed interest in Croatia's investments in Albania.
