Presenting the programme at a news conference, Pecek said the condition for the programmes implementation was the continuation of agriculture reforms, that were currently on hold.
We do not want Slavonia to be viewed at as a region that requires social assistance, but as a development hot spot, which requires significant investments in the farming sector, Pecek said adding that according to his party's assessment some 20 billion kuna needed to be invested in Slavonia.
Asked whether the elements of cooperation would be defined at tomorrow's meeting between representatives of the HSS and the Croatian Social Liberals (HSLS), Pecek said principles of cooperation between the two parties' parliamentary benches would be defined, but that it was too early to say if this would turn out to be a firm cooperation.
