The project, financed by 1.2 million euros from the CARDS 2002 programme, was conducted by the Irish company Project Management Ltd. from June 2004 to October 2006.
The main results of the project are the elaboration of a national strategy for environment law of the European Union stipulating Croatia's possibilities to meet standards from the EU acquis communautaire in horizontal legislation, waste management, air quality and the control of industrial pollution as well as risks management.
The funds were used also for the elaboration of other relevant documents.
