The forum was organised as part of a visit by an Austrian business delegation to the Zagreb Chamber of the Economy.
The delegation included representatives of different business sectors, mostly the food-processing, metal and power industries, and from the tourism and environmental protection sectors.
The Vienna Chamber of the Economy and the Zagreb Chamber of the Economy signed a cooperation agreement.
Trade between Croatia and Austria in 2005 amounted to USD1.7 billion, with Croatian exports amounting to 628 million and imports from Austria amounting to USD1.06 billion.
With investments between 1993 and 2005 totalling USD3.3 billion, Austria is the leading foreign investor in Croatia.
