Speaking at the event, Jelusic said that the position of the Montenegrin community in Zagreb was the best proof that minorities must contribute rather than be obstacles to cooperation among Balkan countries.
He voiced satisfaction with the fact that the three-day meetings of Croatian and Montenegrin politicians, business people and cultural workers were being held for the first time in independent Montenegro.
He noted that Montenegro and Bosnia were the most interesting markets for Croatian companies, which he said were willing to invest in Montenegro.
The vice-president of the Podgorica City Assembly, Dragan Mijajlovic, told Hina that the two cities already had good cooperation.
The presentation of Zagreb's political, business and cultural scenes will last until Wednesday.
