" I want us to fight (corruption) together, because it has nothing to do with politics but with political culture," Sanader told Ingrid Anticevic Marinovic of the Social Democrats who asked what the government was doing to prevent political corruption.
"Sanader said Croatia was tired of recriminations and accusations, adding that it would be nice if the Croatian public was spared from politicising and affairs.
"I invite you to stop politicising and help us in that," Sanader told SDP deputies.
Nikola Vuljanic also wanted to know how the government planned to prevent corruption. The PM told him that that the Tax Administration of the Croatian Finance Ministry had increased its tax income in the past three years by 12 to 15 percent and that more efforts were being invested in fighting the grey economy.
