ZAGREB, Sept 22 (Hina) - The chief rabbi of Croatia's Jewish religious community Bet Izrael, Kotel Da-Don, on Friday sent a note to the head of the Islamic community in Croatia, Mufti Sevko Omerbasic, wishing him and the Islamic
community the best on the occasion of the upcoming month of Ramadan.
ZAGREB, Sept 22 (Hina) - The chief rabbi of Croatia's Jewish
religious community Bet Izrael, Kotel Da-Don, on Friday sent a note to the head
of the Islamic community in Croatia, Mufti Sevko Omerbasic, wishing him and
the Islamic community the best on the occasion of the upcoming month of
Ramadan. In his note, the rabbi wished "that God will hear our
prayers and that this year will be the last year of wars and bloodshed among
peoples, nations and religions. And may people learn how to live and respect
each other with love and tolerance".
Da-Don said he was sending the best wishes note during the Jewish
holidays Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
