The meeting was organised on the occasion of a visit by a business delegation from the Rheinland Phalz region.
German imports from Croatia went up 3.9 per cent last year and as much as 39.3 per cent in said region, according to Richard Patzke, director of Rheinhessen's Industry and Trade Chamber.
Croatian-German trade amounted to USD3.7 billion last year, with Croatian exports accounting for one billion.
In this year's first five months, Croatia exported USD435.4 million worth of goods to Germany while importing 1.2 billion.
With a share of 14.5 per cent, Germany is Croatia's second largest import market, and with a share of 11 per cent, its third largest export market.
