The remaining 50 per cent will be covered by the state budget, the Finance Ministry said in a press release.
The loan agreement is expected to be signed by Finance Minister Ivan Suker in the next month, after which it will be ratified by the Croatian parliament. The Health Ministry will be in charge of implementing the project.
The Finance Ministry said this was the third health infrastructure project being financed by the CoE Development Bank.
The project is fully adjusted with a strategy of cooperation between Croatia and the Bank as well as with the conclusions of a joint forum on public health organised in Skopje in last November by the CoE, the CoE Development Bank and the World Health Organisation, said the press release. At the meeting, the health ministers from Southeast Europe, including Croatia's Neven Ljubicic, were agreed about the need to improve the effectiveness of health systems in the region.
