According to a press release from the Office of the Serbian President, the talks focused on ongoing negotiations on the future status of Kosovo, cooperation with the Hague war crimes tribunal, forthcoming elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and economic cooperation.
Dodik underlined that the people of Republika Srpska believed that Kosovo had to remain a part of Serbia.
Tadic and Dodik agreed that all those responsible for war crimes should be brought before the Hague tribunal, adding that cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska in dealing with this matter was very good.
Dodik informed Tadic of the ongoing election campaign in Republika Srpska, saying that the parliamentary elections, scheduled for October 1, were very important for the whole region.
Tadic expressed hope that political positions throughout Bosnia-Herzegovina would be filled by political structures guaranteeing regional stability.
