Grabar-Kitarovic and Kinsella said the two countries had good and friendly relations, adding there was room for further development of relations.
The Croatian minister informed the Canadian officials of the current state of affairs in Croatia and the process of Croatia's joining the European Union. Grabar-Kitarovic thanked Canada on its support to Croatia within the framework of the Peace Building Commission.
In that context, the Croatian minister informed her guests of Croatia's participation in 12 UN and NATO peace missions and the visit of Croatian officials to Afghanistan.
Grabar Kitarovic said Croatia was interested in a more flexible visa regime with Canada. Kinsella expressed understanding saying Canada was ready to approach dialogue so as to find a solution that would please both countries.
The Croatian Minister said sge would officially visit Canada in the near future.
The Canadian officials also held talks with the head of the Croatian Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs, Gordan Jandrokovic.
