The US government invests in mini-libraries to encourage people throughout the world, including Croatia, to learn more about the United States, Ambassador Frank said. This is the fourth American Corner to be opened in Croatia, after Zadar, Osijek and Rijeka, he added.
The American Corner in Zagreb contains 700 books, video cassettes and DVDs on the American way of life, history and culture.
Ambassador Frank said that he would invite US experts to speak about topics of mutual interest in the library.
