BRATISLAVA, May 24 (Hina) - Slovakia's Prime Minister Mikulas Dzurinda has pledged his country's support to Croatia on its path to membership of the European Union, saying that Slovakia will seek to ensure that every country aspiring
to join the bloc should be evaluated according to its own merits. Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Wednesday received the Spanish State Secretary for Commerce and Tourism, Pedro Meija, Mesic's office said in a statement. Croatian Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship Minister Branko Vukelic on Wednesday received the Spanish State Secretary for Tourism and Commerce, Pedro Mejia Gomez, who was heading a Spanish economic delegation on a visit to Croatia. Defence Minister Berislav Roncevic presented a long-term plan for the development of the Croatian Armed Forces to the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Stjepan Mesic, on Wednesday.
