SKOPJE, May 13 (Hina) - Parliamentary cooperation within the frameworkof the US-Adriatic Charter has proved itself as very efficient in theprocess of the integration of Croatia, Albania and Macedonia withEuro-Atlantic associations, it
was said at the opening of a meeting ofdelegations of the three countries' foreign affairs committees, heldin Skopje on Saturday.
SKOPJE, May 13 (Hina) - Parliamentary cooperation within the
framework of the US-Adriatic Charter has proved itself as very efficient in the
process of the integration of Croatia, Albania and Macedonia with
Euro-Atlantic associations, it was said at the opening of a meeting of
delegations of the three countries' foreign affairs committees, held in Skopje
on Saturday. Croatia met the political criteria for joining NATO and
it is on the oath to make economic development on the level of NATO and EU
member states, Croatia's representative Gordan Jandrokovic said.
The present were greeted by Macedonian Parliament Speaker Ljupco
Jordanovski and Foreign Minister Ilinka Mitreva. The meeting was also addressed
by British Ambassador Rober Chatterton Dickson who welcomed the progress made
by the three countries in building security which, he said, would enable them
to join NATO.
The head of the Croatian parliamentary delegation to the NATO
Parliamentary Assembly, Kresimir Cosic, also attended the meeting in Skopje. He
spoke about Croatia's defence reform.
