Describing the court ruling as "unacceptable, legally unfounded and null and void," the Croatian ministry said in a statement on Monday that the Slovene court did not have jurisdiction over Croatian state territory.
The Piran court ruled that Croatia had to remove concrete flower boxes from the path leading to the Joras residence.
The Croatian ministry recalled the position of the government in Zagreb that the international border crossing of Plovanija and Josko Joras' house "are undoubtedly situated in the territory of the Republic of Croatia."
