The Pristina-based daily also quoted Croatian Serb leader Milorad Pupovac as saying it was too early to discuss the possibility of his engagement as an international adviser.
In his earlier statements Qeku has shown interest in the two Croatian politicians conveying to the Kosovo government their experiences in European integration processes and the return of Serb refugees to Croatia.
Koha Ditore said that Mimica had successfully steered Croatia on the road to the European Union, while Pupovac was described as a competent Serb politician who had done a lot for the repatriation of his ethnic kin displaced by war.
"My previous contacts with Kosovo's institutions and their leaders have convinced me that Kosovo has good potential for getting closer to the criteria and values on which the European Union is based," Mimica was quoted as saying.
