"Glavas has the same treatment as all other prisoners," Spahic was quoted by the Banja Luka-based Nezavisne Novine as saying.
He gave the statement to dismiss objections from some inmates who complained that the former Croatian politician enjoyed privileges in his prison cell, such as a heater and a TV set.
The prison director said that heaters were banned in all cells and that TV sets were given to everybody.
Glavas is serving his prison term in Zenica after he fled Croatia just before he was handed a guilty verdict for war crimes against Serbs in Osijek.
