"All preconditions, such as a courtroom arranged in line with European standards, will be provided by the summer," Minister Ana Lovrin said on Thursday.
She added that the Hague tribunal's Office of the Prosecutor would soon refer a number of cases which the UN court will not be able to process or finish because of the end of its term.
Lovrin said she did not know when the Zagreb County Court, which has jurisdiction in the case, would receive the indictment against Norac and Ademi, whom the Hague tribunal charged with crimes against Serb civilians in the 1993 Medak Pocket operation.
The adjustment of the Hague tribunal's indictment is nearing completion and the State Prosecutor's Office has recently received the last batch of evidence. The media estimate this means that the arrival of the indictment, adjusted to Croatian legal standards, may be expected in the next few weeks.
