The High Representative made the announcement in Sarajevo on Thursday during talks with the visiting Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis.
Schwarz-Schilling said it was necessary to ease the visa requirements for Bosnian citizens so that they could travel to the EU, provided that the authorities in Bosnia-Herzegovina continued strengthening the rule of law and border control.
The Greek minister also met Bosnian Foreign Minister Mladen Ivanic and announced further support from Greece for Bosnia-Herzegovina's efforts to draw closer to the EU, citing full cooperation with the Hague war crimes tribunal as a condition.
