ZAGREB, Feb 22 (Hina) - The state-owned Plinacro company, engaged inthe distribution of natural gas to distributors and industrialconsumers, and a consortium of seven Croatian companies on Wednesdaysigned a KN 155.2 million agreement
on the construction of the fourthsection of the 190-kilometre-long gas pipeline trunk from the coastalcity of Pula to Karlovac, southwest of Zagreb.
ZAGREB, Feb 22 (Hina) - The state-owned Plinacro company, engaged
in the distribution of natural gas to distributors and industrial consumers,
and a consortium of seven Croatian companies on Wednesday signed a KN 155.2
million agreement on the construction of the fourth section of the
190-kilometre-long gas pipeline trunk from the coastal city of Pula to
Karlovac, southwest of Zagreb. Work on the 76.8-kilometre-long
fourth section will start on 1 March and the agreement stipulates they are to
be completed in six months' time.
Plinacro has already signed two agreements, worth 104 million kuna and
93 million kuna, with the Austrian-Italian consortium Habau-Ghizzoni, on the
construction of the second and the third section of this pipeline trunk.
The entire project will cost about 90 million euros.
Plinacro needs still to find partners for the construction of the
10-kilometre-long first section and a terminal near Vodnjan.
