TIRANA/ZAGREB, Feb 9 (Hina) - A meeting of the Council of Culture
Ministers from Southeast European countries, including Minister Bozo Biskupic
of Croatia, started in Tirana on Thursday. The Croatian minister and his
Albanian counterpart Bujar Leskaj today also opened the exhibition "Croatian
Monuments on the UNESCO List of World Heritage", the ministry stated. Addressing the meeting, Biskupic spoke about the process of Croatia's
admission to the EU and the importance of cultural cooperation between
Southeast European countries.
Biskupic and his Albanian counterpart Bujar Leskaj signed a three-year
programme of cooperation between the two countries and then opened the
exhibition featuring photos of Croatian monuments on the UNESCO World Heritage
List.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by participants in the
Tirana meeting, public figures, cultural workers and members of the diplomatic
corps.
