Public gas consumption is very high owing to very low temperatures, Vujec said calling again on consumers to spend gas in a rational manner.

Gas imports from Russia have been reduced by 7.8 percent to about 121,000 cubic metres per hour. Production of gas from domestic sources has reached a maximum 190,000 cubic metres per hour, and the difference is being covered by supplies taken from the underground storage site at Okoli.
