ZAGREB, July 26 (Hina) - The Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, whose acronym in Croatian is HOK, has launched a new statistical year-book on the sector of crafts and small enterprises in 2006.
ZAGREB, July 26 (Hina) - The Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, whose acronym in Croatian is HOK, has launched a new statistical year-book on the sector of crafts and small enterprises in 2006.

The publication called "Obrtnistvo u brojkama 2006" gives data on local craftsmen and the training for crafts and trades.

Last year, 103,986 crafts and trades operated in Croatia employing 232,622 people.

In the last three years, 5,000 new crafts and trades were opened creating 13,000 new jobs.

In the first five months of this year, Croatia got 1,000 new crafts and trades with 8,000 newly created jobs.
