The delegation said the feeling of insecurity among members of the Serb national minority had increased after recent arrests of Serbs on suspicion of war crime, although Serbs have been living in eastern Croatia for the past ten years, namely since the peaceful reintegration.
The delegation said that arrests in front of TV cameras and with insufficient evidence could in no way help the development of quality coexistence or the return. They also said that publishing new lists of people who committed war crimes was inappropriate, the statement said.
