The government also sent to parliament a final bill of amendments to the Electronic Media Act, also adjusted to EU regulations and stipulating that a physical entity can be the publisher of an electronic medium.

This bill proposes the establishment of an Electronic Media Agency, which should include a fund for the stimulation of media pluralism and diversity, while the Electronic Media Council would act as the agency's steering board.

Amendments to the Defence Act and the Armed Forces Service Act were sent to parliament for a second reading, the latter reducing the time required to pass between a soldier's return from a peace mission and departure for a new one from two years to one year.

The government sent to parliament for adoption a final bill on audiovisual activities and a draft action plan for Croatia's science and technology policy in 2007-10, and for ratification the International Convention Against Doping in Sport.
