DUBROVNIK, May 10 (Hina) - A two-day regional workshop of the Partnership Cooperation Programme that gathered military and diplomatic representatives of the United States and partner-countries in southeastern Europe ended in the Croatian seaside resort of Dubrovnik on Thursday.
DUBROVNIK, May 10 (Hina) - A two-day regional workshop of the Partnership Cooperation Programme that gathered military and diplomatic representatives of the United States and partner-countries in southeastern Europe ended in the Croatian seaside resort of Dubrovnik on Thursday.

The chief of the U.S. National Guard Bureau, General Steven Blum, and the deputy chief-of-staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Slavko Baric, described the Dubrovnik workshop as very successful.

Croatia, Albania and Macedonia are expecting to be given invitation cards for NATO membership at the alliance's summit scheduled for April 2008 in Bucharest.

The Dubrovnik event focused on the best models for the adjustment of armed forces in southeastern European countries to NATO standards.
