In a statement, carried by Dnevni Avaz daily on Thursday, Sadovic said that in 2005 and 2006 Bosnia had only two terrorism-related cases.
One cannot make a conclusion that Bosnia is a country with terrorism threats from two isolated terrorism-related cases, Sadovic said.
The two terrorism-related cases Sadovic was referring to are mining the grave of former Bosnian President Alija Izetbegovic and the case of two Bosniaks and one Turkish citizen whom the State Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina sentenced to prison for preparing suicide attacks aimed at forcing the country to withdraw its soldiers from missions in Iraq.
Minister Sadovic said that foreign media without a justified reason had described Bosnia as a country in which Islamic terrorism was being developed.
"I firmly dismiss such qualifications because they are ideologically colored and calculated. The fact that Muslims make up the majority in Bosnia cannot be a reason to smear Bosnia's name and force the country to justify itself constantly," Sadovic said.
