The mining sector saw the highest rise in production since March last year -- 12.1 per cent, while the electricity, gas and water supply sector registered a decline of 6.8 per cent.
Production in the most important branch, the processing industry, rose 10.3 per cent.
Viewed by the main industrial groups, production of durable consumer products showed the highest growth rate of 24.9 per cent. The production growth rate for capital products was 20.2 per cent, for intermediary products 9.8 per cent, and non-durable consumer products 4.1 per cent. Energy production saw a decline of 1.3 per cent.
